take the 888, it would handle both with no problem, it needs less mantainance and it eats everything... go with the 888!

the marzocchi is for more abusive riding, it would take whatever you want and don't complain, the fox needs more care and mantainance, if you are a dh racer you should take the fox but if you are a freerider take the 888
